The political Left portrays themselves as champions of the working class, but their "solutions" do more harm than good to the very people they say they are trying to help. Politicians who profit from a reliable subset of workers in a voting block use and protect the union's antiquated business model- a model based on compulsion and one-size fits all contracts. The sad trade-off are workers whose professional careers are stifled. For the most, opponents of forced unionism just say "no" but instead they should be asking what does a win-win, opportunity-driven 21st Century workplace look like? How might we achieve it?
